How to have an extreme fun holiday

Requirments: Family
A family van
Money
Cell phone

Steps:
1 Wake up get dressed and get the gear that I need (e.g.) swimming gear, Spare clothes, Rugby ball etc).

2 Ring my Auntie Uncle to come pick me up in the family van.

3 Go to the beach and spend some time swimming, making sand castles, etc, etc.

4 Then go home and have a shower to get the sand off and then go to sleep.

Term 3 reflection.

What i enjoyed this term was inquiry because it was great learning about what manukau city council actually does and we also learnt that some ratings in shops are not real.
This term what i found difficult was maths because i didn't really know how to use a protractor but now i am on to it and i am having fun in maths.
This term I still need to improve my skills on p.e because it will help me in my following years at college.

Jack and the beanstalk

Villain: I believe that the villain in the story is Jack because he stole from the
Giant. But he stole because he was poor and he just wanted to show his mother how much money he could get from the beans.

Hero: I think that the hero is the mother because she saved Jack and she also hurt the Giant so I think they are all Villains and Hero’s.

Goals for term 4!

Learning goals…
My goal for maths is to be at stage 8 at the end of term 4 by doing maths at home and at school.
My goal for reading is to move up to 16yrs and so I shall read at home for me to improve.
My goal for language is to improve on my writing and in order for me to do that I will practice my handwriting at home and in my spare time.
My goal for newsboard is to be more confident and share my opinions to the class and by doing that I will speak up more.
My goal for p.e is to participate more and it is to become confident and by doing that I will participate in every lesson.

These are the three most important characteristics I will need for next year.

College is a big step, but with the motivation and enthusiasm you can get through it. The three most important characteristics I will need for next year are, making the right choices, leadership and completing my work to the best of my abilitys, and this essay will explain why.

My first characteristic that I will need next year is to make sure that I am doing the right thing because in college good decision come from experiences, and experiences come from bad decisions. So indecisions become decisions with in time.

The second characteristic that I will need for next year is leadership because leadership is a combination of strategy and character. In college leadership means something to everyone and it is important because the most important quality in a leader should be willing to make decisions.

The last characteristic that I will need for next year is completing my work to the best of my ability’s. When I complete my work to the best of my capability, then that shows that I have the competence to get my work done.


So I believe that these three characteristics will help me get through college and they can make me become an independent learner for the years to come.

HINEPAU

There once lived Hinepau who was a girl with nice green eyes and orangery, red hair.
Hinepau liked to sometimes be alone signing and weaving flax in the woods away from her family.
Because her family sometimes had a thought that there was something inside her which wasn’t right.
Because of how she weaves and her cousins would just implied that she was a witch just because of her looks.

Message:This poem is a poem about a girl whose family thinks that she is a witch but she dose not care about what they say because she knows that she isn't a witch.

In the dark I shine so bright
Because I twinkle late at night.
The moon lies asleep in the sky
That’s when I wish that I could fly.
Although I know it won’t come true,
I start to cry boo, hoo, hoo.
